Beyonce Knowles and Alexandra BurkeBeyoncé Knowles was reportedly so taken by X Factor winner Alexandra Burke that she’s in talks to offer her a support slot on her forthcoming tour and wants them to record a single together.

Alexandra performed Beyoncé’s hit ‘Listen’ in Week 8 of the talent competition and was joined by her singing hero for a duet of the song in the final show of the series.

A source told The People newspaper: “Beyoncé was blown away by Alex.

“She thought she had exceptional talent and told her so during their rehearsal for last week’s performance of ‘Listen’.

“In the dressing room, Beyoncé told Alex she’d like to work with her in the future and suggested the possibility of recording a new single together.

“She also said she’d love Alex to take part in her UK tour, possibly as a support act, although nothing is set in stone yet.

“Alex couldn’t believe what she hearing.”

Alexandra is set to take the Christmas No1 slot this evening with her debut single, a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. Beyoncé is set to play in London, Birmingham and Manchester next May.
