jade goodyJade Goody reportedly responded well to her latest run of cancer treatment.

The former Big Brother star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and after an eight-hour hysterectomy in September, was given a 50/50 chance of survival because doctors found the disease had spread to nearby organs. Since then, she’s undergone a course of radiotherapy - which doctors say has gone better.

A source close to the family explained: “Doctors were worried after her op but things are looking a lot more positive now.”

Jade, who is currently appearing in pantomime in Lincoln during a break in her treatment, is also said to have told friends: “I am feeling better and happier.”
