Lindsay Lohan boosts Sam Ronson’s career while killing her own

Lindsay Lohan’s relationship with Samantha Ronson is reportedly doing wonders for the DJ’s career - but Lindsay’s own professional development is suffering.

According to the New York Daily News, Samantha’s appearance fee has jumped from $1,500 a gig to nearly $25,000 a show over the last year.

A source told the newspaper: “While Sam never contractually agrees that Lindsay will show up to her shows, promoters, owners and publicists all know that if you book Sam, there’s a high likelihood Lindsay will also show.

“Sam’s now asking for a lot more money to spin, and she’s getting it easily.

“Meanwhile, Lindsay’s passing on movie roles and job offers just to be with Sam while she tours. Lindsay’s in talks to sign onto a few major movies, but everyone’s worried about how the relationship will affect her career.”

But the source added that their relationship might not be a problem for much longer - Sam has refused Lindsay’s help on her new album (she wants it “to be about her, and not her-and-Lindsay”) and the pair frequent fight: “They fight every day.

“It’s just jealousy and childish bickering over the fact that neither feels the other pays enough attention.

“While they really do love each other, this relationship will be over by March.”

The two women were first linked over a year ago but only began to take their relationship public this year, eventually confirming rumours of a romance in the autumn.
