“Stay at home” Jessica Simpson trying for a baby with Tony Romo?

Jessica Simpson has revealed she’s become a real homebody while dating Tony Romo over the last year.

She explained recently that after years of red carpets and photo shoots in Hollywood: “My personality is now more stay-at-home.

“Right now I’m doing the Christmas tree and everything. I’m in Dallas and its fun, Tony hasn’t had Christmas in 7 years because they have football every Christmas and he can’t go home. So I’m bringing Christmas to him this year and it’s been fun. I’ve been out ornament shopping and all kinds of stuff, so that’s more of who I am.

“Believe it or not, I like to bake pies. Tony’s favorite is pumpkin pie and I haven’t mastered that yet. Maybe I’m more of a baker; I like to make cakes, more fattening. I make a good carrot cake.”

But other sources close to the Dukes of Hazzard star insist she’s hoping to bake up something else - a bun in the oven to be specific.

A source told Perez Hilton that the couple are “actively trying” for a baby after Jessica’s little sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz gave birth to her first child last month.

The source added: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Jess makes an announcement that she’s pregnant very very soon.”
