Madonna & Guy Ritchie call truce for Christmas time together
The couple had been rumoured to be squabbling over the logistics for Christmas Day - which Guy wanted to spend with their children at his country estate in Wiltshire without the star or with her there and following strict no-diva rules. However according to the People newspaper, the day became a boys’ only affair, with Guy entertaining sons Rocco and David in Wiltshire while their sister, his former step-daughter Lourdes, celebrated the day with mum Madonna in their London home.
Guy and the boys are then said to have returned to London themselves on Boxing Day and the whole family took a trip to the city’s Kabbalah centre yesterday.
A source told the newspaper on their arrival and departure from the centre: “They all looked really at ease with each other.
“Madonna and Lourdes had partnered up while Guy walked with the boys but there was an overall feeling of togetherness.
“It was as if they wanted everyone to see that they have made peace with each other. It was so lovely after all the tales of rows and bickering.
“It has been a rough few months for all of them and Madonna and Guy were determined to end the year on a high note. It has been lovely for the kids to have mum and dad together in the same room.
“Everyone hopes their feelings of togetherness aren’t just for Christmas but will continue well beyond.”
The couple formally announced their separation in October and their divorce is expected to be finalised next week.
