Jade GoodyJade Goody has sparked new concerns for her health after missing several shows in her pantomime run.

The former Big Brother star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and in September, underwent a hysterectomy before starting a long course of radiotherapy - but has been given just a 50/50 chance of survival.

Despite the grim prognosis, Jade signed up to play Wicked Witch in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal - but according to the People newspaper, she’s been out of action since Tuesday and missed all three performances on Saturday.

A theatre source explained: “Jade has been in hospital over Christmas and it’s on a day-to-day basis if she can come or not.

“We thought she was due back today - but she is still not well.”

Jade previously revealed she would juggle her treatment and performances: “I’ve scheduled my treatments for Mondays when the show isn’t on and I just sleep all the time when I’m not on stage.”

A spokesperson for the star said yesterday: “She has flu like a lot of the country.

“The cancer treatment is going well but obviously affects her in different ways.”
