Christina Aguilera to design a range for TopShop for £1million?

Christina Aguilera is reportedly in talks with TopShop boss Philip Green to design a fashion line.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Christina’s range will complement the existing designer and celebrity lines at the high street store - including the highly successful range by Green’s close friend Kate Moss.

A source told the newspaper: “Sir Philip has started talks with Christina and hopes to sign a deal soon. She has visited his offices in London and they are thrashing out the details.

“Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to TopShop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model.

“She’d appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.”

After the success of her first collections, Kate is said to have signed a new deal worth £4million a year for three more years and will also design a range of lingerie and accessories to sell alongside her clothing line. Christina is expected to earn around £1million per range to start with.
