Katie Price and Peter Andre could be divorced in just six weeks after the glamour model finally accepted their marriage was over this week.

In the three weeks since their separation was announced, Katie, also known as Jordan, is said to have repeatedly asked Peter to reconsider and to give their relationship another go - but she is now said to have realised that it is not going to happen.

A source close to Katie told the News of the World: “This has been a landmark couple of days for Katie. It’s sad, but she’s given up the fight.

“She now accepts she’s never getting Peter back and is ready to move on with her life. It hasn’t been easy but she knows it’s necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things.”

Peter is expected to file for divorce immediately, citing Katie’s “unreasonable behaviour” as justification for a quick turnaround - a ‘no-fault’ divorce would take more than two years.

Kimora Lee Simmons and partner Djimon Hounsou have welcomed their first child together - a baby boy.

Kimora has two daughters - nine year old Ming Lee and seven year old Aoki Lee - from her previous marriage to music mogul Russell Simmons. Her divorce from Russell was finalised in January this year - shortly before she and Blood Diamond star Djimon announced they were expecting a baby together.

Yesterday the model turned fashion executive has announced the arrival of her son on her Twitter page.

She wrote: “It’s a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes!

“More to come. Thank God. And God Bless! Kimora + Djimon Love & Light, KLS.”

The baby’s name or other details of the birth have yet to be announced.

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay are celebrating the arrival of second daughter.

The TV presenters welcomed daughter Amber Isabella at a London hospital at 5:26pm yesterday - a younger sister for their four year old daughter Phoebe.

The new arrival weighed in at 7lb 15oz and dad Vernon told reporters: “She is absolutely beautiful and I’m thrilled.”

Tess is expected to take the summer off to spend with her girls before returning to presenting the next series of Strictly Come Dancing from September.

Nicole Kidman has fuelled rumours that she’s pregnant again after being spotted with an apparent baby bump in New York.

Earlier this month, it was reportedly that Nicole had pulled out of the forthcoming Woody Allen film without giving a reason publicly - in the same way that she pulled out of The Reader in January 2008 shortly before announcing her pregnancy with daughter Sunday.

Yesterday, the actress, who has made no secret about wanting more children, was spotted with a rounded belly while leaving the Broadway show God of Carnage with husband Keith Urban.

Her spokesperson said that Nicole is “not to my knowledge” pregnant but a source close to the actress added: “Nicole wants babies, lots of them.

“It would surprise no one if she announced she was expecting again.”

Nicole and Keith welcomed their daughter Sunday last July. She also has two teenage children from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

Nicole Richie has revealed she still has no plans to marry partner Joel Madden.

The couple got engaged in the summer of 2007 after Nicole announced she was pregnant with Joel’s child. They were rumoured to be planning to marry that autumn but the nuptials took second place to her pregnancy (and her 82 minute jail time), and after daughter Harlow was born in January 2008, they said they still wanted to keep focusing on their child instead organising a lavish ceremony.

Now six months pregnant with their second child, Nicole has said they feel committed enough to each other so will only marry when they feel the time is right.

She explained this week: “Joel’s family is actually very Christian and Joel grew up very Christian, and even his idea when he was little was, ‘I’m going to get married and then I’m going to have kids’. [He was] very programmed that that’s the order that everything happens in.

“And of course, when I was a little girl, I dreamed about getting married and that is definitely a dream of mine one day.

“But right now, we’re really really focused on our family, we’re focused on our [charitable] foundation. As far as feeling that need of commitment, we both really have that in each other.

“I think for both of us, we are going to do it because we want to, not because that’s what you do.”

Rihanna has reportedly been called to testify against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in his assault case.

Chris was charged with assault and making criminal threats to the singer following an incident in his car in February. The couple reconciled briefly at the end of that month, sparking rumours that Rihanna would ask for the charges against him to be dropped, but have since gone their separate ways again.

Now her lawyer Donald Etra has reportedly been informed that Rihanna will be subpoenaed to appear at a pre-trial hearing later this month to find out if there is enough evidence to convict the R&B star.

A source explained: “She didn’t want to have to testify against him but she’s cooperating in the legal process.”

In related news, Chris’s legal team’s attempt to have the case dismissed has been denied by Los Angeles Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg.

His lawyers had requested that the case be postponed or abandoned following the leak of a police photographer of a bloodied and bruised Rihanna following the incident. Judge Schnegg denied the request at a hearing yesterday.
