The woman pregnant with Jude Law’s baby has been named as Samantha Burke.

A lawyer for the US socialite and aspiring actress released a statement yesterday (30.07.09) revealing ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star Jude is the father of her unborn child and has pledged to support her and the baby.

It also states Samantha got pregnant during a brief relationship with the 36-year-old star which occurred over the Christmas period last year.

Samantha has reportedly registered on website Babies “R” Us giving her due date as October 6 and saying she is expecting a girl she will name Sophia.

Michael Jackson autopsy results have been delayed indefinitely.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office announced the move yesterday (30.07.09), and it has been claimed the release has been postponed while police investigate the pop icon’s death.

The Los Angeles Times newspaper reports: “Word of the delay followed a meeting between officials from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the Los Angeles Police Department and the coroner’s office to discuss progress in the case. Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner’s office said he could not say when the cause of death would be announced.”

A law enforcement source has claimed the delay is not the result of problems with the toxicology report or questions over how the case is being handled.

Eminem has threatened to leak nude photographs of Mariah Carey.

The rapper has released a track called ‘The Warning’, which blasts the ‘Fantasy’ singer and her husband Nick Cannon, and threatens to expose the brief relationship they had in 2001 by making public intimate pictures and voice mail messages.

The song comes after Mariah appeared to dress up as Eminem in the music promo for ‘Obsessed’, in which she said he was “delusional” for hinting they had slept together in his track ‘Bagpipes from Baghdad’.

He raps in ‘The Warning’: “Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me. Now I’m p***ed off. I’m obsessed now. Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee?

Ashton Kutcher thinks Demi Moore is “the brightest light in the room”.

The 31-year-old actor is blissfully happy with his 46-year-old wife, who he married in 2005, and claims the secret to their relationship is always making time for each other.

He told Parade magazine: “The real trick is putting yourself around people you admire. That’s why I married my wife. I locked in the brightest light in the room.

“My wife and I have an agreement in our marriage, and part of that contract is that we are going to shine our lights on each other. My relationship with Demi is so solid, thank God, and we’re so communicative about the way that we’re feeling, that we don’t allow space to come between us. I definitely believe that if you stop working at relationships, they go away.”

Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston are set to take over Michael Jackson’s London shows.

The two artists both have new records due out this year, and are being lined up for 23 of the dates the ‘King of Pop’ - who died of a suspected cardiac arrest on June 25 - was due to perform at The O2 arena early next year.

A source said: “Robbie’s eagerly-awaited album will be out soon and he is likely to be touring Europe next year. It will be perfect for him to start with shows at The O2.

“Whitney Houston has been on the O2 arena wish-list for a while - she has the voice and hits to sell the arena out several times over.”

Diane Kruger will never marry again.

The 33-year-old actress is so scarred by her failed marriage to French actor Guillaume Canet - which ended in divorce in 2006 - she wouldn’t consider tying the knot with her current beau Joshua Jackson until they are 60.

The ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star explained: “I’ve been with Josh three years now. We lived together in New York for a while. Will we move in together properly? I don’t know. But after three years, it would be the natural thing to do.

“I’m not saying marriage, but definitely kids eventually. But not right now. I won’t ever marry again. Does it matter if you sign a piece of paper? It doesn’t make it last. I would get married to Josh at 60 if we were still together because then it really means something if you say it’s for life.”
