Tori Spelling has been hospitalised with severe stomach pains.

The 36-year-old actress was rushed to a medical centre on Monday night (28.09.09) after complaining she was in discomfort and was then released, only to be readmitted yesterday (29.09.09).

Her representative confirmed: “Tori went to the hospital last night for abdominal pain. They released her, but she wasn’t feeling better today so she returned to the hospital for more tests.”

Tori’s husband Dean McDermott - with whom she has two children, Liam, two, and 15-month-old Stella - is deeply concerned about his wife’s condition.

Patrick Swayze’s private memorial will be held on Sunday (04.10.09).

The ‘Dirty Dancing’ actor died on September 14 after losing his battle against pancreatic cancer and his family and friends will pay tribute to him at the service which will be held at Sony Studios in Culver City, California.

His representative said: “In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either of the following two organisations - The Patrick Swayze Pancreas Cancer Research Fund or Stand Up to Cancer.”

Last September, Patrick helped Stand Up to Cancer raise money at the organisation’s TV charity event.

Whoopi Goldberg has defended Roman Polanski, saying he did not commit “rape-rape”.

The ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ filmmaker was arrested in Zurich, Switzerland, on Saturday (26.09.09) and faces being extradited to the US after he fled the country in 1978 after being convicted of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, believing a judge would renege on a plea bargain deal and hand him a considerable jail term.

Whoopi has now caused controversy by suggesting Polanski’s offence - which took place in 1977 - was not as serious as the court deemed it.

She said on US TV talk show ‘The View’: “It was something else but I don’t believe it was rape-rape.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have splashed out £2 million on their daughter’s clothes.

The Hollywood couple want three-year-old Suri to always looks her best, and think nothing of dressing her in designer outfits.

A source said: “Katie and Tom really splurge on Suri, and as they’re so famous they always get the top fashion designers to custom make her clothes.”

Suri has been spotted sporting outfits by Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Burberry.

Robbie Williams‘ girlfriend has refused to marry him.

The ‘Bodies’ singer is said to be desperate to tie the knot with Ayda Field, but she has been too scarred by her mother’s divorces to consider Robbie’s proposal.

A friend explained to Britain’s More magazine: “Ayda loves Robbie with all her heart and would do anything for him apart from walk down the aisle. The topic of marriage cropped up in their first few months together, which is a huge leap on Robbie’s part - he finally realised he’d met ‘The One’.

“He’d love a wedding. It really would make his life complete after all the madness that’s surrounded him. But Ayda has seen her mother divorced twice and is all too aware of the pain it’s caused. She doesn’t want to end up going the same route.”

Barbra Streisand sprained her thumbs giving Robert De Niro a massage.

The actress-and-singer damaged her digits when Robert encouraged her to give him a vigorous rubdown for a scene in ‘Meet the Fockers’.

She said in an interview with British talk show host Jonathan Ross: “He kept saying do it harder - I sprained both thumbs, I had to have cortisone shots. That’s method acting!”

In the interview, the 67-year-old star also revealed she gets infuriated with her husband James Brolin - who she married in 1998 - because he doesn’t tidy up after himself at home.
