Charlie Sheen’s alcohol shame

Charlie Sheen has blamed his drinking for his alleged attack on wife Brooke Mueller.

The ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor - who was arrested on Christmas Day (25.12.09) after reportedly assaulting his spouse with a knife - has told friends he feels “awful” about his actions but knows it wouldn’t have happened if he had stayed away from alcohol.

One revealed: “Charlie feels awful. He let himself down by drinking … And he wants to be with his kids.”

Despite the alleged attack, Charlie is determined to make his third marriage last for the sake of the couple’s nine-month-old twin sons Bob and Max.

Sienna Miller’s nanny ultimatum

Sienna Miller only agreed to holiday with Jude Law and his children if he left their nanny at home.

The ‘GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra’ actress joined the actor - whom she broke off her engagement to in 2005, after she found he had cheated on her with his children’s carer Daisy Wright - in the Caribbean, but only after he agreed to her ultimatum.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Haunted by what happened the last time they were together, Sienna is leaving nothing to chance second time around.

“She wants her and Jude to work on their friendship first and foremost, and then see if love blossoms.

Simon Cowell’s animated ambition

Simon Cowell wants to create a cartoon series.

The music mogul - who earned an estimated $75 million last year - is a big fan of animated show ‘The Simpsons’ but admits he is jealous of its worldwide success.

He said: “Their appeal is broad and it makes a lot of money. You kind of hate them for making so much money. It makes me physically sick knowing how much money they have made over the years.

“Maybe I should start a cartoon one day.”

Kevin Jonas’ fairytale bride

Kevin Jonas bought his new wife glass slippers to wear at their wedding so she could feel like Cinderella.

The Jonas Brothers singer wed Danielle Deleasa in a romantic ceremony on December 19 and he was determined to give the nuptials a fairytale feel.

He told People magazine: “I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle. I’ve never seen a more beautiful bride.”

The couple - who had been dating for two years - held their wedding breakfast in a heated marquee decorated with an enchanted forest and icicle-shaped crystal decorations.

Robert Plant’s womanly celebration

Robert Plant wants to spend New Year’s Eve (31.12.09) in the arms of a woman.

The 61-year-old rocker - who has famously lived a life of sex, drugs and rock n roll excess - admitted he will be looking for love over the holiday season.

He said: “Where would I like to welcome in the New Year? In some warm, tantalising arms.”

Although he is looking forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve, the former Led Zeppelin singer isn’t looking forward to the next decade because all it holds for him is “more attention to bladder control”.

Alexandra Burke has 2010 travel plans

Alexandra Burke is looking forward to touring the world in 2010.

The ‘Bad Boys’ singer says the only New Year’s resolution she will be making is to build on her successes of the past 12 months.

She said: “I’m looking forward to another unbelievable year I hope. Releasing in other countries, maybe a tour sometime. Just getting out more and performing.

“No day is ever the same. You never know what is going to happen next.”
