Simon Cowell building new £10million Barbados bachelor pad

Simon Cowell is reportedly building a new £10million mansion in Barbados and wants it to be the ultimate bachelor pad.

The X Factor judge, who split from long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour in September, is said to have asked for a home cinema, swimming pool and mirrored bedroom walls in the new property.

A source told the Mirror: “No expense will be spared - it will have installed all the latest gizmos and boys toys.

“Cowell has been very specific when it comes to what he wants - and specifiaclly insisted on the mirror panels in the bedrooms.

“He thinks they will be hilarious and can’t wait to show them off. Simon says the project is his pride and joy and that he’ll be personally overseeing the whole building process.”

The finished property, set on ten acres of land near the island’s exclusive Sandy Lane resort, will also include six bedrooms, marble bathrooms and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

The source added: “Simon is having a great holiday and is totally in love with the island.

“He has got a bit more time on his hands now the X Factor has finished and is looking forward to getting stuck into the building project. He’s sure everyone will love the finished product.”
