Nadine Coyle: I love going out with someone who isn’t a celebrity

Nadine Coyle has revealed she’s very much loved up with new boyfriend Jason Bell.

The Girls Aloud star is currently holiday in Miami with Jason and told RWD magazine recently why she thinks things are going so well between them: “He plays American football, he played in the Superbowl, and he is so smart. Not showbiz at all.

“He had never heard of our band when we met through a mutual friend, but he’s a fan now.”

She explained that her new relationship is very different to her last one, with former Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe: “Jesse was an actor in the States and for me it was too much of a circus. It all became too Hollywood and he was in rehab.

“That was too much for me.”

She added that she loves her relative anonymity in the States: “We have a safe haven in the States - no one knows who we are.

“Labels want to sign [Girls Aloud] but we’re asking ourselves whether we want to start off from scratch doing the c**p to work our way up again.”
