Kate Moss tells nanny she wants a baby in 2009
Kate Moss reportedly gave her nanny a special bonus at Christmas because she wants to get pregnant in 2009.
Mary Davidson, the mother of Kate’s friend Sadie Frost, currently cares for Kate’s six year old daughter Lila Grace and on top of her usual salary, received a £2,000 bonus last month.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Kate told her that the bonus had been doubled, as she hoped she’d have twice as much work for her this year.
“She told [Mary] that she is the only person in the world she would want to be there if she had a new baby. Mary was so touched by Kate’s words that she burst into tears.”
Kate fuelled pregnancy rumours earlier this week after being photographed holding her stomach while on holiday in Thailand for New Year - but the source added that the cigarette in her other hand showed she’s not pregnant yet.
The source explained: “Kate has been smoking and having the odd drink on holiday, but will start her detox in earnest when she is on her own with [boyfriend Jamie Hince].
“She wants to wait until she has cleaned out her system before attempting to get pregnant.
“Last year was quite a heavy one for the couple, and she wants to make sure she’s in good health before they start.
“But her gift to Mary is her clearest indication yet that she’d like to add to her brood before this year is out.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
