Paris Hilton: I’ve only slept with “a couple of people”

Paris Hilton has said that contrary to rumours, she’s only slept with “a couple of people”.

The socialite, who rose to fame after starring in a sex tape with Rick Salamon, told Glamour magazine recently that while she’s flirty, she doesn’t jump into bed with every man she kisses: “I’ve only ever done it with a couple of people.

“People make up stories, but mostly I just kiss. I think it’s important to play hard to get.

“Nobody wants the fake Prada bag - they want the brand new bag that no one can get and is the most expensive.

“If you give it up to a guy he won’t respect you. He’ll want you much more if he can’t have you.”

As well as Salamon, the heiress has enjoyed high profile relationships with Nick Carter, shipping heirs Paris Latsis and Stavros Niarchos, and most recently Good Charlotte star Benji Madden.

But she insists she doesn’t need a man to define her - and really, when it comes down to it, she’s a feminist icon: “I think [I am one because] I’m a strong woman who doesn’t depend on a man for anything and I believe in girl power.

“Plus I don’t apologise for anything because woman rock.”
