kevin costnerKevin Costner was briefly hospitalised in Los Angeles on Tuesday after feeling faint.

A spokesperson for the Tin Cup star explained: “Kevin was driving in the Hollywood area Tuesday morning when he began to feel lightheaded. He called 911 and they kept him overnight in the hospital.”

A barrage of tests were run on the star but everything came back normal so he was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday morning.

His spokesperson added: “He’s feeling fine and is back on his feet.”

The 53 year old star is set to become a dad for the fifth time this spring - his second child with wife Christine Baumgartner.
