Jade Goody’s boyfriend Jack Tweed to be released early from jail
In September, just after Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer, Jack was sentenced to 18 months in prison on an assault charge, after he attacked a 16 year old with a golf club. However, he’s now struck a deal to be released to his parents’ custody in Essex, staying at their house and obeying a strict curfew, monitored by an electronic tag, or risk being returned to jail for the remainder of his sentence.
A source close to the former Celebrity Big Brother stars told the News of the World that Jack’s release is welcome news for Jade after a run of setbacks in her cancer battle - including a kidney operation at the star of the year and losing her hair to chemotherapy this week: “Jade can’t wait for Jack to get out - nor can her two boys.
“It’s been really hard for her, fighting the cancer and looking after the kids. Having him back will really help.”
