Lily and art dealer Jay have known each other for years through Lily’s dad Keith Allen and were romantically linked over Christmas after being spotted hugging and kissing while on holiday in St Barts - but a source close to the singer has said that neither expected it to last.

The source told the Mirror: “It’s all over - it was basically just a holiday romance.

“They have had a lot of fun together, but Lily has said it’s finished.”

The source added: “Lily had been on a mission to get Jay for more than four months.

“She never normally sticks to a diet or weight-loss plan but she was so determined to get Jay she managed it.

“She even changed her hair just for Jay. She loves the sort of circles he moves in and she was pretty in awe of his lifestyle.

“[But] Lily is going away for a year on tour, so it’s unlikely she will have much time for a relationship.
