jade goodyJade Goody has said that she’s gutted she won’t be able to have any more children, especially the little girl she’s always wanted.

The Celebrity Big Brother star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August last year and had a radical hysterectomy in September. Doctors have now given her a 40% chance of survival but Jade told the Mirror recently that if she does pull through, she’ll always wonder what life would have been like if she’d have a daughter.

The mum of two explained: “Knowing I’ll never have another baby is heartbreaking. I’m a young woman and I’ve got two boys who I idolise but I would have loved a little girl.

“I’d always felt there was a girl inside me desperately wanting to live because I never got the chance to be a child myself.

“I would make sure her hair was brushed at night and I would rip up old sheets to make rag tails. Then we’d go shopping and play with dolls.

“But that little girl will never live now and that really hurts. It means even if I get better, the effects of this cancer will be with me for ever.”

She added that she’s also disappointed that she will not be able to have a child with on-off boyfriend Jack Tweed: “Jack says he isn’t bothered and that Freddie and Bobby are like sons to him. But he is still only 21 and I worry that when he is older he will want that experience of being a real Dad.”
