Angelina Jolie and Brad PittShowing that you’re never too A-list to climb through bushes to get to a good party, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly found a secret way into the VIP section of a Golden Globes party at the weekend.

According to OK magazine, the couple were at the pre-Globes Paramount party at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood on Saturday night, mingling with guests including Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr before they decided to break for more priveleged ground.

A source told the magazine: “Brad was really happy - totally being his mellow, low-key self.

“People kept coming up to him, trying to talk business, and Brad was like, ‘Nah, man. Not now. This is a party.’

“[Then party host] Brad Grey motioned for Brad and Angelina to cut through some hedges to get to the VIP [section].

“Brad was game but Angelina looked a little tentative - she was after all, wearing heels and a nice dress!”

But Brad was determined: “Brad had his Heineken in one hand, and Angelina’s hand in his other and said, ‘C’mon babe - you can do this!’

“And he led her through the hedges to the VIP. It wasn’t like Angelina was worried about ruining her dress, she just had a look on her face like, ‘Are we supposed to be doing this?’”

Both Brad and Angelina were up for Best Acting trophies at the awards ceremony on Sunday night - him for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and her for Changeling - but both lost out (to Mickey Rourke and Kate Winslet respectively).

But another onlooker told OK that at the post-Globes party at the Sunset Tower Hotel: Neither one of them looked too upset about not winning - they spent the whole evening exchanging loving looks and holding hands.

“She’d give him a kiss, he’d caress her back. It was really cute!”
