Denise Van Outen buys home with Lee Mead after his Joseph stint ends

Denise van Outen is looking forward to spending plenty of time with boyfriend Lee Mead now that his run on the West End is over.

Lee won the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in BBC talent competition Any Dream Will Do - and while he was there, he also won the heart of judge Denise. But his 18 month long stint on the show has meant the couple hasn’t been able to spend many evenings or weekends together since they became an item - something they hope to change after his contract came to an end at the weekend.

According to the Sun, the couple have bought their first home together in the Kent countryside and a source told the newspaper: “They are looking forward to spending some time alone.”

Speaking about his post-Joseph plans recently, Lee added that some holidays are in order too: “Hopefully it’ll be the Caribbean. I’ve got a new album coming out at the end of March, so I’ll come back to promote that.

“After that, we’re going to Los Angeles. Denise has a place out there and I’ve never been - so I’m really looking forward to it.”
