Leona Lewis to release a self-titled perfume

Leona Lewis is set to launch her own perfume - and is making sure she’s doing it right.

The X Factor winner, who is a long time vegetarian and last yar turned down a lucrative deal to open the Harrods sale because of the store’s policy about selling fur, is to release the self-titled scent through German cosmetics company LR.

A source told the Sun: “Leona has had a lot of approaches about launching her own perfume, but she wanted to make totally sure she would be working with an ethical company.

“She has had a big hand in helping to create the fragrance and the design of the bottle and now she can’t wait to see it in the shops.”

The singer is also said to be designing a range of vegan clothes - not involving any fur, leather, wool or silk - for a high street store.
