amy winehouseAmy Winehouse has dismissed rumours she’s partying to excess and annoying other guests at her hotel in St Lucia.

The singer flew out to the Caribbean for a fortnight’s holiday before Christmas and has since extended her stay twice after enjoying herself so much at the exclusive Le Sport Spa resort. But after discussion with her management, staff have reportedly been told not to serve her alcohol at the hotel’s bars because it leads to her behaving erratically amongst fellow holidaymakers.

But Amy told the Sun: “I’m not out of control. Yes I’ve had a few drinks but I’m on holiday - I’m just young and having fun.

“I’m getting loads of exercise, eating brilliantly and I’ve really been able to relax.”

She added that while dad Mitch Winehouse has flown out to join her (after her holiday fling Josh Bowman flew home last weekend), he’s not there for any big showdown talks: “[My dad and I] watched an FA Cup match and didn’t have talks. Yes, he likes to check on me - he’s my dad - but we were more interested in Southend.

“I’m in the best place I’ve been in ages. I’m looking forward to the future.”
