alexandra burkeIt looks like Amy Winehouse wasn’t the only star to have a fun holiday fling while off in warmer parts of the world - X Factor winner Alexandra Burke reportedly hooked up with a local man during her luxury holiday in Mauritius, despite recently swearing off men until she’s 30.

Alexandra and new BFF, fellow contestant Ruth Lorenzo flew out to the Indian Ocean island at the start of the month as a reward from her record company for her hard work on the show and her debut single ‘Hallelujah’s Christmas success.

A source told the Mirror that as well as hanging out with ruth, Alexandra also enjoyed the company of a local man called Maurice who worked at her exclusive hotel’s diving centre: “Alex got back on Friday and said one of the best things about her break was meeting Maurice.

“She just wanted a bit of fun before focusing on her debut album.”

Alexandra will be working on her album for most of 2009, with its release scheduled for November this year.
