Johnny Depp to marry Vanessa Paradis in April, claims source

After years of rumours, it looks like Johnny Depp may finally be set to marry partner Vanessa Paradis.

The latest set of wedding rumours about the pair kicked off last month after the Pirates of the Caribbean star was spotted buying an expensive ring at an exclusive jewellers in Los Angeles.

Now sources close to the pair have said that the nuptials will take place in April, at the chapel on the couple’s £1million estate in France: “It’ll be very private and certainly no press or magazine deals.

“It’ll be very close friends and family only, no newcomers even as plus-ones.”

The couple started dating in 1998 and have previously said they feel no need to marry but Johnny has said he would “do it in a second” if Vanessa wanted to. The pair have two children together, nine year old Lily Rose and five year old Jack.

It won’t happen. Another rumor. If it were true why haven’t the papers reported it – only the gossip rags. I feel pretty sure if he were to get married he would keep it so private that no one would know until after the fact. Who is this “Source” they keep quoting. Is it the same “Source” that reported them getting married last year and the year before?

I like Johnny and wish him only happiness if this is true. But aside from the recent media report of him “making a large purchase” at a CA jewelry store, the other wedding “news” is rehash from old mag articles. And why would Tim Burton be his best man when Johnny has a dear brother and other guys he’s been friends with much longer than Tim? I suspect a breakup is more likely than a wedding for these two (sad for the kids).

agree with non believer especially after she returned his engagement ring because she “wanted it to be perfect.” A woman that picky will never keep her man. She has the perfect man for crying out loud. Talk about picky – is she that way at home too. I feel sorry for the kids.

wow. did u ever think that maybe its not about looks? obviously not. Johnny depp is obviously perfectly happy and so it doesn’t matter if they marry or not or if she’s not the prettiest woman in the world cuz i highly doubt you are.and yea shes a little picky but thats nobodys buisness obviiously he doesnt think so soo the children probly don’t either.

I so agree with piratebride and Nonbeliever. Also come on cant a guy buy a ring with it being a wedding ring? I also want to know who this source is, probaly someone making it up who made up the other rumors. Although i do hope they do get married, its about time. But for some reason i feel more like they would brake up, and that the only reason their still together is because of the kids. If so i feel for them. If not have a great life. lol

I don’t think Johnny will ever get married again. Can’t always believe tabloids because I mean look, April’s almost through, there’s no ring on anyone’s finger, and he’s currently working on The Rum Diary in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I definitely agree with nonbeliever and I don’t think he’ll marry Vanessa.

1. No one’s love is that perfect. She herself has said they fight and he has a bad temper.

2. Why would they let it out if they were having problems? So the reporters can get in on it. Infact it is more likely that when Celebrities are having problems they publish stories to cover it up.

3. In 2001 i think was the year Depp stated in an interview..
"I don’t know if she is the one. We met at a party and I don’t remember the end of the night. # months later I got a call saying she was pregnant so I asked her what she wanted to do. So we decided to work it out.

4. Their story keeps changing. He walked up to her in a lobby. The, it changed to she walked up to him in a lobby. Then, It was we met at a party.

Nothing adds up. I hope they do make it but something is very very fishy. The only way for a couple to be this stupidly happy is if one of them has no mind of their own.
