Portia de Rossi: we’re too exhausted and broke for Valentine’s Day

Portia De Rossi has said she and wife Ellen DeGeneres aren’t really into celebrating Valentine’s Day.

The loved-up holiday is just a month awat but Portia explained recently that the couple of five years, who married last summer, have more than enough to celebrate over the next few weeks: “We have our anniversary of when we got together, then Christmas, then her birthday [on 25th January], my birthday [on 31st January], and then Valentine’s Day.

“So by the end of that whole thing, we are exhausted… and broke.”
