shia labeoufShia LaBeouf has been banned for driving for a year following his car crash last summer.

The Transformers star was cleared of blame for the incident which happened in Hollywood last July and also cleared of driving under the influence (DUI) - but according to Access Hollywood, has been given the ban after refusing to undergo “chemical tests” at the scene of the crash.

Arresting officers at the scene claimed the actor showed “physical signs” of being under the influence of something but refused to undergo a breathalyzer or other field tests for intoxication.

Production of Transformers 2 had to be delayed after Shia crushed his hand in the crash. He still wears a brace on his left wrist and is expected to undergo further surgery on the injury later this year.
