Kelly Osbourne checks into rehab after realising she needs help

Kelly Osbourne has checked into rehab for an undisclosed reason, according to her mum.

Sharon Osbourne confirmed the news yesterday, saying daughter Kelly had checked into a 30 day programme at a facility in Los Angeles: “Yeah, Kelly’s in rehab.

“Kelly knew that she needed help and she’s getting it.

“What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we’re proud she did it.

“The family is all standing behind her. We just pray that everything’s going to be okay.”

In 2004, Kelly spent time at Promises in Malibu to deal with her substance abuse problem, specifically an addiction to painkillers. Lately, she has insisted that she’s left her wild years behind and late last year got engaged to boyfriend Luke Worrell.

Earlier this month, she was formerly arrested for assault after an incident in a London nightclub last summer. She has been bailed to return to the police station in March.
