Sienna MillerAfter Katie Holmes‘ stint on Broadway came to an end last week, Sienna Miller has reportedly signed up for her own theatre run in New York.

According to the Daily Mail, Sienna will star in After Miss Julie, an adaptation of August Strindberg’s Miss Julie set 50 years after the original play as Labour came to power in the UK in 1945. The play is set to open at the Roundabout Theatre on 42nd Street in September.

A source explained: “Sienna thought she was going to be busy this year with film work but when that [Ridley Scott’s Nottingham] fell through, she signed up for After Miss Julie instead.

“She’s always loved the stage and thinks it might be her chance to redeem herself as an actress.”
