Roxanne PallettDancing on Ice’s Roxanne Pallett has said she’s already got an amazing bond with her skating partner Daniel Whiston.

She told the News of the World: “We just clicked. He’s like my new hubby, my boyfriend on ice.

“I trust him more than I’ve trusted any other guy in my life. I told him that and he nearly cried. I don’t trust a lot of people.”

In fact, the 26 year old former Emmerdale star has had quite a run of untrustworthy boyfriends: “I’ve dated the good, the bad and the ugly!

“I’ve spent too many months in relationships where the guy was bringing me down. A partner should be the kind of person that if you have a bad day, they make it better, not the other way round.”

She has also spoken about being a victim of domestic violence in another relationship: “The police got involved and I should have pressed charges but I didn’t. The positive thing is I got out and ended that chapter in my life. It was one of those things you learn from.

“A lot of girls my age go through these experiences. You don’t have to be married or living together to experience this.

“There are a lot of young girls being controlled by guys who are insecure and possessive. I wanted to send out the message that I have had that boyfriend and I have got out because it never gets better.”
