Victoria & David BeckhamAfter just a few weeks playing for AC Milan, David Beckham reportedly wants to move his family to Italy permanently - but wife Victoria Beckham isn’t so keen on the idea.

David signed up for a temporary loan to the club during his usual team LA Galaxy’s off-season but is said to be having such a fun time, he wants to give up his multi-million dollar contract in the States to return to playing in Europe. But after getting their family settled in California - as well as establishing herself as a celebrity over there, Victoria isn’t so keen to move back.

According to the Sun, the pair have been arguing about idea for the last few weeks and a source close to the family told the newspaper: “In many ways this will be the biggest test of David and Victoria’s relationship.

“Does the family make the sacrifice for David so he can end his career in real style? Or does he have to accept they’ve moved around enough to follow his career?

“David’s loving his football again. He’s like a new man now he’s back with a top European side. He’s the happiest he’s been for ages and is very keen to make his loan permanent. He wants to keep playing for England and thinks he’s at the best club in the world to achieve that.

“But Victoria doesn’t want to uproot the kids again, especially for another country where they speak a foreign language. The boys have lots of friends in Los Angeles and are happy at school. She was never really happy in Madrid [when David played for Real Madrid between 2003-2007] and fears Milan will be similar.

“Ideally Victoria would stay in LA, although she is prepared to move back to London. But David wants his family with him in Milan.

“He [also] loves the idea of being nearer to his parents. His mum Sandra is a huge support to him and with his dad Ted’s recent heart scare he’d love to be just a short flight away.”

David scored his first goal for the Italian side at the weekend and said he doesn’t know what will happen in the future: “I can’t say what will happen, even if my contract says I’ll be here until March. We’ll have to see. At the moment I’m enjoying this experience. I’m at one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

David & Victoria moved to Los Angeles amid much fanfare in July 2007 and their sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are currently being schooled in the city.
