Jennifer Aniston & Drew Barrymore: celebrity dating is like being in high school

Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore have compared being a celebrity to being in high school when it comes to dating.

Former Friends star Jennifer has been seeing John Mayer for around a year but since her separation from Brad Pitt at the start of 2005, she has been romantically linked to just about every available man in Hollywood.

She explained that dating in the public eye is “not fun”: “You could end the date and shake hands with them and realize it doesn’t work, and all of a sudden you’re a new couple.”

Her He’s Just Not That Into You co-star Drew Barrymore added: “I think it’s the same as high school or inter-office dating. It’s the same feeling.

“What we deal with is strange and surreal, but the emotions are the same as anyone.”

The rom-com is released in the US and the UK next week.
