The socialite has repeatedly visited the city over recent months, filming the British version of her reality TV show Paris Hilton: My New BFF and is said to have decided bought the townhouse in Camden to have a base in the city for future visits.

A source told the Mirror: “Paris started looking for a base when she was last in the UK to film Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend.

“She initially thought about living near Hampstead and Belsize Park, but moved on to Camden, where she could get more bedrooms for her money. She wanted lots of room for her friends from LA to sleep over.

“She will be spending a lot of the time in the UK, so she wants somewhere comfortable and quite similar to her girl palace in LA.”

Paris is expected to spend another £250,000 customising the six-bedroom house, including having a pole-dancing pole installed in her living room like at her home in the US.
