Eddie Murphy still not seen 22month old daughter Angel

Eddie Murphy has reportedly still not yet met his daughter with Melanie Brown, Angel.

Eddie initially refused to believe the child was his, claiming the Spice Girl had slept with other men during their brief fling - but even though a DNA test confirmed his paternity shortly after Angel’s birth in April 2007, Eddie was still said to be reluctant to support the child and even less reluctant to meet her.

An inside source told OK magazine: “To see the kid, he’d have to see the mother.

“Maybe when she’s older, Eddie will see Angel, but not now.”

Melanie has made it clear that she wants Angel to get to know her father but the source insists: “Mel’s a crazy woman. Eddie wants to stay far away from her.”

Eddie has seven other children from previous relationships while Mel also has a nearly ten year old daughter, Phoenix-Chi, from her previous marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar. She is now married to producer Stephen Belafonte.
