Jade Goody hospitalised after collapsing in pain at home

Jade Goody was hospitalised over the weekend after collapsing in “excruciating pain”.

The former Big Brother star has been undergoing intensive medical treatment since being diagnosed with cancer last summer - but is said to have collapsed after her latest round of chemotherapy left her exhausted.

A source close to the family told the Sun: “Jade has gone through an awful few days and has been very ill.

“She collapsed at the end of the week and had to go back into hospital.

“She is a fighter, but the treatment has just taken everything out of her and she has been in excruciating pain.”

Her spokesperson Max Clifford added: “Jade has been in a lot of pain and she is going through hell.

“It is a battle for life, but her condition has not worsened and treatment is ongoing.”

Last month, Jade revealed she’d lost all her hair as a result of the treatment and doctors have given her a 40% chance of survival.
