Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus is reportedly doing her best to avoid being the next in the long line of bad celebrity drivers.

The Hannah Montana star started driving lessons after turning 16 in November and her instructor at the California Driving School in Los Angeles says she’s doing really well.

Head instructor Gloria Ridgeway told OK magazine: “She’s very determined to be a good driver. She’s very focused. She really picks it up.

“They have good lessons. Miley’s lessons are always fun and enjoyable. There can be laughter along with safe driving.

“It’s all about being focused and avoiding distractions. She watches everything from two blocks ahead of her to what’s on the sidewalk beside her.”

The star was given her mum’s old Porsche for her birthday but recently swapped it for a new Prius because the Porsche was “too big” and the new car is “good for the environment”.
