Here’s a bumper selection of photos from last night’s BAFTAs in London.

Unsurprisingly, British stars dominated the red carpet - from the Queen of Award Season Kate Winslet, Daniel Craig, Emma Watson and Thandie Newton to Alesha Dixon, Gemma Arterton and Abi Titmuss.

Many Hollywood stars flew over for the event too though, including Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Penelope Cruz, Marisa Tomei and Sharon Stone.

Also in attendance: Christian Slater & Tamara Mellon, Goldie Hawn, Marion Cotillard, Martin Sheen, Robert Downey Jr, Emily Mortimer, Kristin Scott Thomas and Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto.
