Sharon StoneSlumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel has revealed that he found he had a not-so-secret admirer at the BAFTAs the other night: Sharon Stone.

The 18 year old told the Mirror: “Sharon’s great, she’s been flirting with me all night.

“She was chasing me around earlier, slapping me. Sharon Stone! Can you believe it?”

An onlooker added: “Dev is young enough to be her son - even her grandson - but that didn’t seem to stop Sharon flirting with him.

“As soon as she broke away, he grabbed his mobile and said, ‘The lads are never going to believe this - I’ve got to text them about Sharon Stone.’ Mickey Rourke looked a bit put out that this kid was getting all the action.”

Slumdog Millionaire won seven awards at the ceremony on Sunday night, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
