Mandy MooreMandy Moore has got engaged to her on-off boyfriend of a year Ryan Adams.

The couple began dating early last year but separately briefly in the late summer. The pair reconciled in December and her publicist confirmed the engagement news to People magazine yesterday after the actress/singer was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger this week.

A source close to Mandy also told Life & Style magazine that Mandy is over the moon about the proposal: “She is so excited… It’s been a whirlwind. She’s really happy.”

Mandy, who previously dated Zach Braff, was linked to her ex-boyfriend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein during her break from Adams. Mandy rushed to DJ AM’s side when he nearly died in a plane crash in September.
