Joaquin Phoenix appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night. He was supposed to be promoting his new film Two Lovers but he was largely monoslabic - feeding into rumours he’s either really quite messed up these days or his retirement from Hollywood/hip-hop career is all an elaborate hoax for the documentary he’s making with Casey Affleck.
