Robbie Williams’ girlfriend to move to UK with him after all

Robbie Williams‘ decision to move back to the UK has reportedly not cost him his girlfriend after all.

Robbie is in the process of moving back to England after years of self-imposed exile in Los Angeles - but actress girlfriend Ayda Field is said to have been reluctant to put her career on hold to accompany him. Now however source close to the couple have said she’s willing to compromise and fly between the UK and US as needed.

One source told the Mirror: “Rob’s idea to move to the UK was a shock to Ayda initially, especially since they had been talking about looking for a new place in LA.

“But she loves the house in Wiltshire. They’ve been getting wrapped up in winter coats and going for walks in the country - it’s romantic.

“Ayda has a lot of work going on back in the States but she was desperate to be with Robbie in England for his [35th] birthday [on Friday].”

The couple spent yesterday, Valentine’s Day, watching Robbie’s beloved football team Port Vale play against Brentford and have also been visiting Robbie’s mum Jan, who recently had a serious heart operation, in his native Stoke.

The source added: “Jan would secretly love Robbie to settle down and get married.

“He seems the most content he has been in a long while. It wouldn’t be a surprise if they announced an engagement, but not just yet.”
