Jack Tweed: I’d do anything to help Jade Goody, but I can’t
Jade Goody’s husband-to-be Jack Tweed has said he’d do anything to help Jade at the moment.
Jack proposed to his on-and-off girlfriend of three years on Friday after doctors told her there was nothing more they could do for her and she has just two months left to live. The couple are now planning to get married on Sunday in a lavish ceremony at Down Hall in Hertfordshire.
Jack told OK magazine: “If there was anything I could do to get her back to normal I would - I’d chop both my arms off just to make her OK again.
“She has her moments when we have a laugh. But because she is on a lot of drugs, she gets drowsy a lot and doesn’t know where she is and can’t speak properly. It’s horrible to see her in the state she is in at the moment.
“She’s really scared but still tries to be bubbly Jade and make you laugh. She thinks of others before herself, but you can tell in her eyes that she is so scared.”
He added that he hopes to continue seeing her sons Bobby and Freddie as they grow up, even though they’ll likely live full time with the father Jeff Brazier: “I’m sure that we can come to an arrangement so I can take them out every so often.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
