Kimberley Walsh’s boyfriend of seven years set to propose

Kimberley Walsh’s long-term boyfriend has reportedly revealed he’s planning to propose to the Girls Aloud star.

The couple have been together for seven years and Justin Scott told the People newspaper that he’s wanted to propose for much of that time - but has been waiting until he can afford a nice ring for the millionaire singer.

He explained: “I’m saving like mad. I don’t want Kimberley to have a rubbish, chavvy ring. I don’t want her to sit next to Cheryl and feel that hers isn’t as good.”

Kimberley’s bandmate Cheryl Cole was given a £50,000 engagement ring by now-husband Ashley Cole - and an £80,000 wedding ring.

Justin added: “I would want her to have the best anyway but it is difficult when one of her best friends is Cheryl and her ring is so beautiful. But then I don’t earn the sort of money that Ashley does.”

Ashley is said to make around £90,000 a week playing for Chelsea while Justin’s boyband Triple-8 disbanded in 2006.
