jade goodyJade Goody’s ex-boyfriend Jeff Brazier is reportedly reluctant to let her new husband Jack Tweed retain any access to their children after she dies.

TV presenter Jeff has two sons with reality star Jade - five year old Bobby and four year old Freddie - and is expected to be granted full custody of the boys when Jade dies in the next few months. Jade has made it clear that she wants Jack, who she married earlier today, to continue to see the boys as they grow up but Jeff isn’t so keen.

A source close to Jeff told the News of the World: “This is a very sensitive situation and he is finding what’s going on difficult to deal with.

“He loved Jade for a period and obviously is devastated about what she’s going through - but some tough decisions need to be made.

“Jeff disagrees with Jade, and doesn’t think Jack is the sort of role model who should be in his boys’ life going forward.

“It might be unfair but he views Jack as immature and irresponsible, and doesn’t trust him enough to be a good dad to his two young children.”

Jade is estimated to have put around £3.3million into a trust fund for the boys, to be administered by a third party to cover the boys’ education and maintenance expenses’ until they come of age.

A source close to Jade explained: “Jade has been absolutely single-minded about building up a fund for the boys, and her determination has grown as her prognosis has got worse.

“She wants to go to her grave knowing she’s done all she can - and that there are procedures in place so none of the money will be squandered and all of it will be used to give her boys the life she never had.

“Jade has been perfectly clear. She wants Jack to have her personal effects and a few treats, probably her car. But the money she’s made is for the boys. And the property will eventually be for them too.”

Earlier this month, Jade was told by doctors that there was nothing more that could be done to halt the spread of her cancer and she has just two months left to live.

Jack is currently on conditional parole from jail. He was given a custodial sentence last September after being found guilty of assaulting a 16 year old with a golf club. He is due back in court next month to face another assault charge which could see him returned to custody for Jade’s remaining weeks.
