Hugh Jackman decided to open the 2009 Oscars in style last night - with a musical tribute to all of the big films of the year.

The X-Men star, who hosted the ceremony, performed a hilarious run of skits covering all the nominated films includingSlumdog Millionaire, The Dark Knight, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Reader and The Wrestler. He was accompanied by Anne Hathaway for the Frost/Nixon section and serenaded a less-in-the-know Kate Winslet before that.

Genuinely laugh out loud funny in parts, it’s just wonderful.
