jade goodyJade Goody’s wedding to Jack Tweed at the weekend reportedly left her exhausted and unable to get out of bed.

The couple married on Sunday afternoon at Down Hall Country House Hotel in Hertfordshire after Jack proposed earlier in the month. Ahead of the ceremony, Jade had made it clear that she was determined to walk down the aisle unassisted and afterwards, a source at the reception revealed she stood for half an hour to give a speech. According to the Daily Mirror, she then danced to Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ with new husband Jack for their first dance together as husband and wife, before leaving the reception early at 10:30pm.

But even with her early night, all the activity and excitement proved too much for the reality TV star who has been told she has less than two months to live.

A family friend told the Sun: “[On Monday morning] she could not get out of bed. She doesn’t mind though. She had her dream wedding day and was the happiest bride in the world.”

A second source added: “There was a helicopter scheduled to fly her back to her house in Essex but she was too unwell to go on it.

“She had to wait until medical staff had helped her with her pain control then was driven home in a car instead.”

After leaving the Royal Marsden Hospital in London last week, Jade is being cared for at her home in Upshire, Essex by her mum Jackiey Budden and a Macmillan nurse.

Jack is also said to be helping out but as he is currently on parole following an assault conviction, he is limited by a curfew and has to be at his mum’s house between the hours of 7am-7pm. He was given special permission by Secretary for Justice Jack Straw to have the curfew waived for their wedding night.
