amy winehouseAmy Winehouse’s ongoing recovery in St Lucia may be under threat - the owners her favourite pub in London are said to be planning to open their own resort in the Caribbean.

Amy was a frequent patron of The Hawley Arms in Camden before she jetted off to St Lucia for a holiday in December. She only intended to stay for a fortnight over Christmas and New Year but liked the island so much that she has extended her holiday and has now been there for over two months.

After checking in and out of hospital repeated over the last year for drug-related problems, Amy claims to have been drug-free since arriving on the island and said she feels the healthiest she has done in years.

An inside source told the Sun that the Hawley’s owners have been inspired by Amy’s move: “The management team behind The Hawley have plans to turn it into a global franchise.

“It’s made its reputation from being the watering-hole of choice for rockers in London. And now they’re keen to expand overseas.

“They’re determined to turn it into the must-go destination for jet-setting rockers.”

Amy is said to be planning to move to the London suburbs when she does finally return to the UK in a bid to leave behind the Camden partying scene.
