jade goodyJade Goody is preparing to say goodbye to her young sons in the next few weeks so they will not see her during her last harrowing days.

A fortnight ago, the reality TV star was told by doctors that her cancer was incurable and she has less than two months to live.

She had previously tried to hide the seriousness of her condition from her sons - five year old Bobby and four year old Freddy - but has now been reading them the children’s book ‘Badger’s Parting Gifts’: “I have been reading that to them. It explains about heaven and where people go.

“I think my boys know now that I’m dying. Yeah, I think they do now.

“Doctors will know when it’s time and they will tell me when it’s right for me to say goodbye to them. Then they will be with their dad [Jeff Brazier].

“It’ll be so hard to do it, knowing I will never see them again. But I want them to see me before I get really poorly.”

Jade is currently recovering after exhausting herself at her wedding to Jack Tweed at the weekend - but she is also planning the boys’ christenings next week. The service is scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th March and will be attended by around 50 of her close friends and family.

Her spokesperson Max Clifford explained: “The only thing she’s going to be thinking about now is organising the christening. She wants to make it into a big party for the boys - a real huge celebration for them.

“She has been sleeping a lot. She is still recovering from her wedding on Sunday, which is understandable. It was the most wonderful day. She’s still euphoric about that [but] she is relaxing [now].

“Everybody is doing as much as possible to help - the Marie Curie nurses, the Royal Marsden - and most of the time she’s OK.”
