Anne Hathaway embraces her pale skin: fake tans are not a good idea
Like similarly pale Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, Anne Hathaway has revealed she’s decided she’s had enough of fake tans.
The Rachel Getting Married star explained she was inspired to add some colour to her pale flesh so she wouldn’t look quite so pasty in comparison to her permatanned Hollywood contemporaries - but it didn’t go exactly as planned.
She explained: “I had a spray tan done and I wound up looking like an orange zebra.
“When it came off, because I’m so pale underneath, I looked like a giraffe with leprosy.
“And I smelled like nachos and maple syrup the whole time. It was not a good idea.”
Girls Aloud star Nicola dabbled with fake tan during her early years with the girl group but has since reclaimed the pale, and even launched her own make-up range for women with a similar fair skin tone.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
