The couple began dating in November last year and last month were spotted enjoying a luxury holiday in Dubai together - but sources close to the former Celebrity Big Brother star say that once they returned to the UK, Chantelle decided to end things with the Tottenham Hotspur star.

A source told the News of the World: “Chantelle has never really been sure about Jermain. He has a string of girl ‘friends’ and is always on the phone.

“Most genuinely are his friends. But Chantelle just wants a quiet life with a man she can trust. She was always worrying what he was up to.”
